The datasheet page below for the Cisco Firepower products indicates that there is a model 1010 and a 1010E. Does anyone know the difference? I have the 1010 model but was curious what the "E" version did differently. I was unable to find anything online.

Thank you for the reply. I did see that page but it just shows the specs of 1010E, they don't look any different from the 1010.

looking over the datasheet
Cisco Firepower 1000 Series Data Sheet - Cisco
I am thinking the E is for Eco, namely the power draw. Scroll down the sheet and you will see 115W vs 55W

Thanks for the info. That makes sense with 1010 having two PoE+ ports that use the extra 60w. 1010 comes with a 150w power supply.

I have also seen that it doesn't support HA and clustering.
Can any one confirm that???

Hello bhaskar.poojari,
Yes...it supports HA and clustering..!
Also keep in mind...how you manage the device is also important....which means..
if you use Device manager to configure firepower then it supports only High availability. Device manager doesn't support Clustering feature. if you are managing the firepower through FMC, then you can implement both High availability and clustering.

@bhaskar.poojari the FPR 1000 (or 2100) series hardware supports only HA (Active/Standby) NOT clustering.
Clustering is supported on 3100, 4100, 4200 or 9300 hardware.

Yes...agreed..!
it supprts HA but not clustering..!
