Firepower 2110 boots to ROMMON and couple other questions

I have a Firepower 2110 connected to a 3850 switch with an access port.  I have FMC on a VM on the switch that my Firepower is connected to.  Overnight, I don't turn off the switch its connected to and it will seemingly boot to ROMMON mode.  I have not touched or reconfigured any of the switches and Firepower during this time.  Can anyone explain why the Firepower will reboot?

Also, when you 'Deploy Now', is this equivalent to 'copy run start' or 'write memory'?  I have applied configurations and used 'Deploy Now' and the configurations were wiped when I logged into the Firepower a week later.

Also, during troubleshooting, when you go from local management to management on the FMC VM and back to local-management it seems like it wipes the configurations when it starts 'bootstrapping'?  Are there any other actions that will wipe my configuration?

Thanks for your help!

Changing to local management from FMC or vice versa will definitely wipe the configuration.

Going into rommon after reboot can be due to config register setting.

Why it is rebooting in the first place can be determined with the information provided. Cisco TAC may be able to assist in solving that issue.
