FirePOWER Management Center device licensing

Can you make one FirePower on the virtual Firepower Manage Center with purchasing a license upgrade?

Accordingly to below, a license upgrade is needed to manage 2+.

* Note: 3 cost effective virtual FMC licensing options are available to manage 2, 5, or 25 sensors.

Thank you in advance,

Paula

There is no default license level for FMC. You have the right to use whatever license level you purchased.

If you exceed the number of licensed sensors it will not stop you from adding a new one but you will be in violation of the End User Licensing Agreement (EULA).

For Classic licenses (ASA Firepower modules and 3D series Firepower appliances) there is no trial period or grace period for being unlicensed.

To move from a 2-device license to >2 (or from 5 to >5) you need to purchase a higher tier license. There is not currently any upgrade or incremental license addition type offering.

Hi Marvin,

Thank you.

By default, how many does it support without having to support a license
support upgrade?

And do I have 90 days before I need to upgrade?
