I am getting the same error when trying to generate troubbleshooting files for TAC. Any solutions?

The TAC first responder automated email you get when opening an FTD or FMC case should provide a command that you can run to generate the troubleshooting file and upload to your case. If you didn't get it, you can request the assigned engineer create it for you.

 curl https://cxd.cisco.com/public/ctfr/firepower.py | python - -c <case number> -t <token ID> --auto-upload &

I tried that, but for some reason the upload gets aborted and the file deleted. Strange.

You can create the troubleshooting file manually from the cli if the web UI and/or automatic upload of the TAC script is failing:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/sourcefire-defense-center/117663-technote-SourceFire-00.html#anc12

You can get it from the FMC using SCP with some tweaks to the user login:

Thanks. I will try that.

This worked great. I created a user on the FTD devices and the used WinSCP to download the files.

Thanks
