Hello,
I have a customer with a SFR module on their ASA 5525. After the latest VDB update (361) they ran out of memory, resulting in traffic interruption. This is the warning they see in their FMC:
Configuration Memory Allocation - Resource utilization is high
Configuration Memory Required
Total Snort Memory 1579.90 MB
Security Intelligence 26.00 MB
DNS/URL Blacklisting 1024.00 KB
Policy Configuration Memory 1389.53 MB
SSL Memory 0 B
Available Memory 114.76 MB
I will probably open a TAC case on this, but just curious if someone else see the same issue after the latest VDB update?
Thanks
/Chess

personally i would reload the SFR module and check in the maintenance window, still issue open a TAC

Still the the same issue after a reload, so I will open a TAC case. I've also noticed a big memory jump on a number of FTD devices after this VDB update, so there's something with this update consuming a lot of memory

Sure - TAC can suggest. most of SFR gone out of the market and moved to FTD now.
