FMC reports both Primary and Standby FTDs as Failed after upgrade

Hello all,

I have just completed an upgrade of an FTD HA pair (2110) to ver 7.2.5. FMC is reporting that both Primary and Secondary HA failed. However, when I log into the cli, show high-availability confis shows Active and Standby Ready.

I can't find any other posts of a similar issue. Any ideas?

To fix this, I had to complete the post upgrade deploy operation on the primary, after which I was able to synchronize the secondary with the active FTD.

Update: The secondary is failing to synchronize. If I reboot the standby, it comes up and goes into synchronize state before returning to the failed state.

Use "show failover history", console output and syslog on both primary and secondary unit during sync stage and after that to troubleshoot.
