FMC TO FDM MANAGEMENT

Hello Team,

Wished to stop managing FTDv via FMC and start managing it Locally. The FTDv already is up and has quite some configs.

How do i achieve this? are there any implications, say possibilities of loosing current configurations?

As far as I know, you cannot change management method without losing configuration.

Cisco have migration for
 from FDM into FMC

but

not from FMC into FDM

As noted bu @MHM Cisco World and @Marius Gunnerud this is not supported. You will have to recreate all configs if you change to local management. Some things may not even supported using FDM.

What you can do, if you have some scripting skills, you could extract all the configuration using API from FMCv, convert it to FDM supported syntax, and then  use API again to send it to FDM.
