FPR1010E || Throughput information

Hi,

I am planing to implement a NGFW (FPR1010E) in network.

Will use it as gateway. All lan to wan traffic will be inspected.

My query is if total wan bandwidth is 350Mbps and if i allow all inspection (lan to wan) will it be okay. Is 1010E can handle this bandwidth properly without any performance issue ?

also i want to use it without any fmc. and there will be two 1010E in HA mode (active/standby)

please confirm.

Regards

@imranul hoque looking at the Firepower 1000 series datasheet, the 1010E will support a maximum throughput of 890Mbps (FW and AVC). https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/firepower-1000-series/datasheet-c78-742469.html

If you just require basic functionality then it will be capable of achieving 350Mbps on your WAN. If you enable more advanced features such as SSL decryption, IPS etc you can expect the performance to decrease, in which case purchase the next model up.

You can run the 1010E in HA without an FMC using local management (FDM).
