Hi
I'm looking for some guidance on my home/ "to be" small business network. I'm not a expert IT wise but always interested in upgrading my security to a more integrated & automated solution, ideally on prem. Since this is not my area it seems easier to update my skills on one product set rather then different technologies where I'm struggling to integrate.
The Cisco end-to-end solution seems to fit my requirements however I can use some help deciding on what equipment to buy and in what order as my IT budget is limited. I aim to do this over 2 years.
Current network:
out/in bound network 1gbps business network
max 3-5 end user devices
mix windows and linux + 1 server (NAS, bitdefender on prem vm, in future visualized desktop )
Home mainly IOT devices and seperate enduser devices
Netgate SG5100 pfsense (Router, Firewall, IPS, VPN)
Bitdefender elite on prem end user protection
I was thinking ideally starting with a firewall, switch and APM end user protection.
Cisco Firepower 1120
5x APM on end devices
Cisco 350 Series SG350-28
Does this seem reasonable?
would I need extra licenses to automate defense in my network?
Would this allow me to store my network info in prem?
Which 1-2 products would you add as a next step from a security point of view?

Cisco Firepower 1120 - is a good choice (1140 has more performance, small price difference i think)

if you looking small business you can also look for RV Series Router that has everything.
