WOuld like to know how many VPN users can configured to go in to ASA 5510 or it is unlimited access?

Hello Cindy
Its the same.. K8 denotes the DES encryption for IPSEC, and K9 has 3DES... upgrading to K9 is also free nowadays.. you can just go to this URL and give the PAK no to get the license.

Hello Cindy,
THe VPN connection on any ASA box is not unlimited. It is actually dependent on the hardware.. There is no seperate license needed for remote access/site-to-site VPN, but there is a limitation on the number of users, because of hardware restriction on each box. There are also other features running on the box, so each feature has its own limitation !!!
For a 5510, the max vpn connection, simultaneous is 250.... you can have a look at this URL for details on all models of ASA 5500..

so, how many SSL for K8?is it the same?
