Initial configuration of ASA Firepower?

Hi,

I have set up a new ASA 5525-X with Firepower-services and now I want to configure the Firepower-services from the Firepower-mangement. The basic functionality of the ASA with accesslists, routing, NAT, VPN etc is up and running, but as said, I want to set up the malware and intrusion policies in the Firepower-management. Is there any good documentation and/or checklists to follow on this? What I want first is to set up the Firepower-services to monitor the traffic and give reposrts for a couple of weeks before changing the config to actually block unwanted traffic.
