Hi
Is it wise to run a CSC-SSM20 on and ASA5510, and do I need to have 2gig Ram on the ASA5510?
I was also wondering, for the web filtering. If all the Internet users are behing a proxy, does the CSC-SSM consider that to be a single user.
I'd appreciate any tips.
Thanks

Hi,
There is no specific memory requirement for installing CSC module on ASA, the CSC doesn't use the ASA memory, the only thing that it uses is the ASA backplane, so that the ASA can re-direct the internet traffic to CSC management ip for filtering. THe CSC has its own memory and CPU that it utilizes.
For second question, if trhe users are behind a proxy then definitely the CSC would see the request coming from a single IP, so you would not be able to filter traffic at granular level.
Hope this answer your questions.
Thanks,
Varun
