Internet termination over L2 Switch

                   Hi ,

We have two L2 switches and 2 ASA firewalls, We have to use firewalls in Active standby mode.

We want to terminate our internet connections to L2 switchs, then to firewall.

Can we do this or how we can configure this.

What is your internet connection type? is it ISP router with ADSL or what?

We dont have router here... link type is ADSl...

Hi,

The ADSL is router by it self.

So just check what is the internal IP range he give.

Give manual IP address to both ASA so you can do the failover.

if the local IP of the ADSL router is 192.168.1.1, then

ASA1 outside interface ip = 192.168.1.2

ASA2 outside interface ip = 192.168.1.3
