Hi All,
I have configured IP SLA on Cisco ASA running ios 9.1(3).
I have already a default route as follows:
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 24.38.66.129 1
Now I have applied IP sla.
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 24.38.66.129 1 track 100
Now I could see both statements in the running config.
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 24.38.66.129 1 track 100 <<<<<<<< SLA applied
route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 24.38.66.129 1 <<<<< previous default route still exists in the routing table.
route outside2 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 24.39.115.49 254 <<<<< backup IPS route.
Could you please confirm following:
1. Is it a default behaviour of seeing both route statements.
2. Do we need to delete previous default route in the running config.
3. Is this a bug?
Thank You,
Phani.

Did you configured track 100? Could you give its config?

Here is the config:

Thanks, why you just dont delete old statement?

I can delete the old statement. But in router, the same command is overwriting. Need to test this in the older ASA version. Currently ASAs are in 9.1
