Is there an easy way to import policies from a Nokia into a PIX

I have a customer that wants to upgrade from a GUI based platform to a 515. My understanding is that Checkpoint policies are GUI based. Is there an easy way to import them into a new box, or will I need to do a glare and stare and just manually type the commands.

Unfortunately not...

Your best bet would be to have a look at the scripts available from www.phoneboy.com. I recall their being a script to dump the objects.c into a more readable format as well as one to view the nat objects.

Although, it's been quite some time since last I had a look.

Just remember,... On previous versions of fw1 there would be an objects.c file on both the management station and module. With NG, there is an objects.c file on the module and a new file on the management station called objects_5_0.C

So you may need to edit the script?

With the amount of times that this question has been asked, I wouldn't be suprised if there's a perl script lurking somewhere :-)
