Hi All
In previous versions of ASDM we could directly start it by pointing the browser to https://ipaddress:8443/admin/public/asdm.jnlp
The new 7.18.1.152 doesn't anymore permit this, as the Java Web Launch component was removed. Also this variant didn't require an installation of the ASDM.
Does anybody know if there still is some way to give the IP Address and port with a link to the now installed ASDM, so that I can just click on it and it directly opens the correct connection?
Thanks
Patrick

Apologies you may have tried this : but this works as expected.
ASDM 7.18 ending support for JavaWeb Launch—Starting with ASDM 7.18, ASDM will no longer
support Java Web Start due to Oracle’s end of support for JRE 8 and Java Network Launching Protocol
(JNLP). You will have to install the ASDM Launcher to launch ASDM.
Look at the release notes :

I know this works as expected (or doesn't work as before). What I wonder, is there a way like "asdm.exe https://ipofasa/" that I could use to launch ASDM and get it to directly connect to the correct IP address. The idea is to have shortcuts on a website for example.
