Password Recovery for ASA FTD

Hi, I tried searching over the internet but I only saw FP2100 for password recovery.

How I can do password recovery for ASA running in FTD?

Hi,
On FTD devices 2100/4100/9300, all the database files and configurations are reset to factory default setting while you perform the password recovery procedure. I think for ASA you can go to ROMMON and do a fresh install.

You can just try entering below command in ROMMON if it doesn't help then reimage it.

rommon 1 > password_reset

Hi 

be aware that this password reset on the new FirePower appliances is more or less a automatic reinstall of the ftd in the virtual container in fxos. So you lose everything not only the password.
