I am thinking of enabling several options (although not all at once) like snort3, SSL decryption and more aggressive IPS policies and would like to compare the before and after impact on sensor CPU and memory resources. I think graph like the system load widget would be quite sufficient but it seems like it only applies to the FMC appliance. Is there a way to get something similar for the sensors?
Thanks,
Diego

Oh OK - there probably won't be much if any update on the Firepower service module sensors.
#1 they are software only so much of the hardware instrumentation is not applicable.
#2 7.0.x is the last release for those sensors - they won't be supported on 7.1+.

On Firepower 7.0+ the health monitor adds a whole range of graphical representations of sensor metrics. They aren't available as dashboard widgets just yet but can be easily seen under the health monitor pages.

Thanks Marvin, I had looked at that already. There is lots of good info for FMC but sensors pages are not nearly as detailed. Should I have mentioned I am using ASA Firepower sensors?
