When I power up or connect the PIX 501 to the local network, even though it only has one cable to the switch (an AOpen AOW-616 if that helps any), it knocks out the local network, including blocking pings and file&print services. Disconnect the PIX, and bingo, it's back like it should be. I've even moved them far apart to keep them from causing problems due to possible RFI, but that hasn't helped any. Config is local network --> PIX 501 (one cable!) --> Netopia DSL router/modem combo from BellSouth. Config attached with IPs, usernames, and passwords removed.

Hello,
i would suggest to remove access-list on the inside.
You are only permitting udp and tcp, ping is icmp.
It looks like it's alot of configuration in Your pix that have no meaning. I suggest You to do a write erase and only put ip-address,global,nat on the pix and try again.
