Pix 501 PPTP pass-through

Hello!

How can i configure PPTP pass-through in a pix 501? I am using 6.3.(5).

I have already configured the fixup protocol pptp 1723, but it doesn't work.

I would like to initialize a vpn connection from a windows xp which is behind the pix to a outside VPN server.

The pix use PAT.

HI,

Beside PPTP 1723, you need to open IP Protocol/47 GRE as well.

Hello!

Thank you for your reply. I have already read this document. As i mentioned i use 6.3.(5), and there is stated in this doc that i need to permit gre traffic by ACL just version 6.2 or earlier.

Regarding this doc, the only thing i should do is the fixup protocol pptp 1723, and gre will be dynamically

permitted.
