PIX 506E report to a syslog server its Dynamic IP?

Hello,

Can a PIX 506E be configured to report to a syslog server its IP address it has received Dynamically?

I need the PIX to report its DHCP IP or PPPoE IP address back to our syslog server. Does it do this today?

No. At least I don’t see it in the debugging logs on my PIX in the lab. This is probably because syslog is not running at the time dhcp occurs so there would be no way for it to log the IP address. You could file an enhancement request through your Cisco rep.
