I have 5 web servers on the dmz. Each server will only communicate with one other server. Will not communicate with all servers. If I reset the PIX and the servers...same thing happens...but, may not be the same (1) server that they hit each time...varies from time to time.
If I remove the PIX they will communicate with each other like they are suppose to...with no problems.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Chris

Hi ,
Is your server HP UX ? . Faced something like this with hp ux server which dows a icmp request t its default gateway now and then.
If ICMP echo requests are denied in the dmz of your pix.. try enabling it ..
Also try a debug in your pix and monitor the packets.

NO, they (4) are all Linux servers and (1)NT 4.
I have ICMP enabled already.
How would you suggest running debug (ie. what switches or format?)?
Thanks for any input.
Chris
