I have a PIX 515 that displays one line of odd ASCII characters at boot then the PIX does nothing after that (does not respond). Tried to change console settings but to no avail. Any ideas?
Ensure that your display is set for the "US-ASCII" character set.
Also when the failover only pix boots up, if it does not detect a primary at the other end of the failover cable, it will stop functioning. Please check the failover cable.
