Ok, my PIX firewall was sending logs to my Kiwi logger, then just up one day, stopped. I hacew tried rebooting the firewall and clearing the log settings. I have also tried setting up Kiwi on another machine and sending to it. I turned off logging for now so it doesn't get broken any more. This is the current show:
Syslog logging: disabled
Facility: 20
Timestamp logging: enabled
Standby logging: disabled
Console logging: disabled
Monitor logging: disabled
Buffer logging: disabled
Trap logging: level notifications, 14969387 messages logged
Logging to inside *.*.*.*
History logging: disabled
Device ID: hostname "firewall"
Note: I edited the Logging inside IP for obvious reasons. The trap was originally set to critical, thats the only other thing I changed.

Does this gives an error message?
conf t
logging on
The PIX never stop sending messages. I suggest you to check the Kiwi syslogger. Might there be a personal firewall on that host, XP SP2, that blocks that packets comming in. UDP 514

Still nothing. Both machines are Win2k3 One is Pro one is Server. No firewalls between them and the firewall in question.
