PIX reoute traffic to inside network

Hi,

My worksation has set the default gateway to the PIX Firewall Inside Interface (192.168.1.254). Howerver, I have another netowrk (192.168.2.0/24) via a router (192.168.1.253). I have add a static route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.253.

But my workstation cannot access to network 192.168.2.0.

Is there any config required to allow PIX to redirect the traffic to inside netowrk.

Hui,

The PIX will not re-direct packets back out the same interface where they were received. You will need to add another L3 device to your network or place the 192.168.2.0 network off of another interface on this PIX in order for this to work. Hope this helps.
