Hello Expert,

I try to configure Port-channel on Cisco firepower 2130.

The client Device is managed localy.

Is there a way to  create Port-channel on 2130 via cli ?

Regards,

Zanga

The limitation correctly noted by @Ilkin is documented in the FDM Configuration Guide:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/630/fdm/fptd-fdm-config-guide-630/fptd-fdm-interfaces.html#concept_92B885383C1C41E18EF091FFBB4E1569

It remains so even as of the most recent 6.3 release. Expect this to change in the future but that's how it is for now.

Regarding cli, one cannot perform configure type cli commands from any FTD device - that applies whether it locally managed with FDM or via an FMC.

When a command or configuration is supported in FDM it is generally an indicator that there is an API for it on the device. FDM communicates to the managed device via the REST API.

Hi Zanga,

Currently a port-channel interface on Firepower 2100 running FTD code can be configured only using Firepower Management Center.
