Problems with VPN Client and Windows Vista

We tried the VPN Client version 4.8.2 with Windows Vista and got the following error message :

Secure VPN Connection terminated by Peer.

Resson 435: Firewall Polidy Mismatch

Looks like it doesn't like the "Firewall required" setting, but we need this setting, we can't trust any OS-Firewalls, we wan't the built-in cisco-firewall to be enforced. What can we do ?

I migrated from Xp to Vista using the same Gui version and i have the exact same problem as steverding. Can anyone please help us??? TKS

Let your Cisco rep know that this is an important feature. The word I have is that stateful firewall is not in the Vista feature set for Cisco.

The readme for the Cisco VPN client 5.0 bears this out:
