I'm having an issue with a couple phones over a VPN link. I have QoS on an ASA 5505 on the remote site and on the ASA5510 at the head end.
class-map Voice1
match dscp ef
match tunnel-group 99.164.119.206
!
policy-map qos
class Voice1
priority
service-policy qos interface Outside
This is what my qos config looks like on each ASA. Does this look correct? Also I'm assuming I need to also prioritize on the inside interface?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

THat would not be required as long as you are sure that the voice traffic is marked with DSCP EF

Isn't it marked by default ef?

Sorry what I meant is I'm trusting the marking coming off the phone which is ef correct?

The RTP packets from the IP phone carry a DSCP value of EF but it is very much possible that along the way, this is rewriiten.
So as long as you are sure that the traffic has been properly marked and trusted along the path, it is fine
