that depends on how long it have been shelfed at the distributor.

but as a general view it is a fairly new stable version.

You are eligble for the latest version. if you want that just let your supplier know that you want the latest version also..

Have you ordered a smartnet to it then you can download it yourself from cisco website.

8.4 is the latest train. I belieeve 8.4(1) is the latest posted on CCO.
