Size Cisco ASA 5500X

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help with sizing the Cisco ASA 5500X? 

Total number of user will be 150. Total ISP bandwidth will be 50Mbps.

Services used will be - URL Filtering, Application Control, AMP, IPSEC, IPS/IDS.

If anyone has sizing document, do share for reference.

You should consider the new Firepower 1000 series appliances and using the FTD image as opposed to ASA image with Firepower service module.

Your reseller can use the Next Generation Firewall Performance Estimator (online Cisco- and partner-only tool) to better match your requirements to a device.

The Firepower 1120 would be a good fit for your requirements.

hi marvin,

i tried access the FP performance estimator online tool (https://ngfwpe.cisco.com/) but got a policy error/access denied.

i got a valid CCO. is this something you request to TAC?

As I noted it is a "Cisco- and partner-only tool". You have to be staff or a partner (and your CCO ID association must reflect that) to access it.
