SMD can not log in to the router.

What am I doing wrong?

I am connected directly to the cisco 1700 and can access the www but when I type https://10.10.10.1 as directed inthe manual I get page cannot be displayed. HELP!!!

Hello

please check a couple of things.

1) give a show flash command and see if you have got the sdm.tar file on your router. this should be there for you to work on sdm from the PC.

2) make sure you have configured the following on the router.

Router#ip http server

Router#ip http secure-server

Router#ip http authentication local
