Hi. We're trying to configure SNMPv3 on our Cisco FTD 2110, but it doesn't work. SNMPv2 works fine. Do we need an additional license to make it work? On ASA I know we had 3DES/AES license, is there that kind of license for these NGFW? Currently those FTD are using Smart Licensing, and are properly licensed for URL Filtering and Intrusion.

Depends on what FXOS you are running.
Look at the 6.2 documentation :

Did you ever find an answer to this ? I just did some diagnostics with packet capture & get "port 161 unreachable" when switching to V3 for the Management Interface. V2c work perfectly. So a bit confused. This is on 2120 with v7.0.4 installed. I've tried all 3 ways to configure SNMPv3 on the FTD & all produce the same result !? Weird.

I'm sorry ida71, as far as I remember we stopped trying and decided to use SNMPv2. It was weird, because it should be supported, but that was quite time ago, I'm not sure about new versions of FXOS.
