Sourcefire interface status

Hello, i want to ask regarding sourcefire interface status.

I have this topology.

Cisco asa - sourcefire ips - switch

when i unplugged the cable in cisco asa, what will happen to the switch port interface ? will it go down or still up ?

how are you configured is very important and physically connected.

but if you disconnect ASA, the port go down,
