Sourcefire IPS signature Test

Hello Team ,

We deployed Sourcefire IPS now as we want to test signature configured which is configured , I couldn't able to find any document how to test Sourcefire IPS deployed Policies .

I am not sure what you expect to do. 

You can see every rule and it's description in Firepower Management Center under the Intrusion Policy section.

Is there any way to simulate most common attacks and see IPS is blocking or not ?

Take a look at rule 1200 and 1201. Those are easy to test if they are enabled. :)
