Tools file management greyed out

Hi everyone,

On ASA running version 8.4

ASDM version 6.4(7)

When i go to tools >filemanagement  i see that file management is greyed out.

Need to know how can i fix this?

Hi,

Try re installing the app or running that from a web browser (https://[asa_ip]), does it happen from several hosts? what Java version you are running on the host?

Just to be sure, check via the CLI the status of the flash just in case with the show flash command and check there are no weird outputs (like the flash saying that has 0 bytes available of 0)

it is happening for several hosts.

for some hosts it is working fine.

i check flash is fine.

Mahesh,

Sounds like a java issue then, check the java version on the work and non working hosts and consider bypassing the Java and check if it works
