Hi,

Someone would you help me?

There are differents between Cisco ASA 5525, 5515 with 5515-x, 5525-x. Because I need to upgrade these fws by a new release, but in the Cisco Page I just found information about 5515-x, 5525-x. I guess that they are end-sale without support but Im not sure.

The version are:

ASA 5515
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.8(2)38
Firepower Extensible Operating System Version 2.2(2.90)
Device Manager Version 7.1(4)

ASA 5525
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.8(2)38
Firepower Extensible Operating System Version 2.2(2.90)
Device Manager Version 7.1(3)

This is the solution

The lack of an "X" in the show command output is just an artifact of the code.

There is no such product as a Cisco ASA 5515 (non-X).

55XX(with out X) are EOL and that is the high level of ASA code you can go.

5515/25 -X not yet EoL / EoS yet, they go ASA code 9.12.x

It's possible that I can't see the X when I do "show version" because is the device manager version old?
