Upgrade Help on FTD 2110 ASA image

disk0:/mnt/boot/installables/switch/fxos-k8-fp2k-npu.2.6.1.198.SPA. FTD firewall running with ASA image 9.12(3)12.

System image file is "disk0:/mnt/boot/installables/switch/fxos-k8-fp2k-npu.2.6.1.198.SPA"
Config file at boot was "startup-config"

Firepower version details

System version: 2.6(1.198)

fpga version: 2.0.00
fpga golden version: 2.0.00
power sequencer version: 2.13
lanspi version: unknown

we need to upgrade to the Latest ASA image. Could it be a problem upgrade to 9.14 from the current 9.12 since the platform to appliance mode changed?

There should not be any problem upgrading from 9.12 to 9.14. For pre-9.13(1) versions, Platform mode was the default and only option. If you upgrade from Platform mode, Platform mode is maintained.
