upgrade to 6.3(3)132 using PDM

I have several remote PIX501 version 6.3(3) and need to update but want to avoid downtime if possible. Is there a way to use the PDM to upload the bin file, or is tftp32 server the only way?

Is it possible to use the vpn connection to tftp the bin file?

Regardless of how you upgrade yur OS, your users will be facing some downtime atleast. The only place you can avoid this is in setup using higher models of PIX firewalls, deployed in the failover configuration.

Can I update from 6.3(3) to 6.3(3)132 or better using the PDM method? I don't want to have to walk non-tech-savvy persons through an upgrade of firmware on a remote PIX.

If I can do an upgrade remotely via PDM, I could do it on a weekend.
