Lets take this scenario:
A workstation gets IP via DHCP, say 10.1.1.1.
A host profile is built for this workstation.
Now this user disconnects his workstation from the network.
Another user gets this same IP 10.1.1.1 via DHCP
What will happen to the host profile built earlier for that IP?
The new workstation might be running different OS and different set of applications
How will FMC handle this situation? Will it delete the old Host Profile and create a new one for this host? Or will it continue to update the same Host Profile? If so, won't the host profile be inaccurate due to information mixed from both hosts?
Thanks in Advance.

Thank you, Balaji. I am a trainer and this question came up in one of the classes. I was unsure of how host profiles will change, if another user gets the same IP due to DHCP. Will FMC delete the old profile and create new one?
