Where do I get the license file for the IPS module?

We just purchased a ASA 5515X with the internal IPS module.

I registed the IPS with Cisco, and got a license key

However, the IPS module needs a license file (,lic)

I don't see anything in the documentation or instructions shipped with the device to get this file. I don't see anything on the cisco licensing webpage.

can anyone help me out?

You may need to provide SmartNet contract number or your device serial #.
