TACACS Issue - Unable to validate provider

Hi Team,

We have a Nexus Dashboard (Version 2.3(2d)) , and we want to connect it to our ISE in order to authenticate against it.

When we are trying to "Add Provider",  we are always getting this error :

Unable to validate provider. Please check your configuration

I've checked that port 49 is opened between the Nexus Dashboard to ISE (checked it from another VM, don't know how to check from this VM itself).

Can you please guide us what can we check ?

Thanks in advance

We were able to solve it !

By getting the correct "av-pair" on the TACACS server.

add provider ? why you dont use network device ?

Hi, What do you mean ?

I mean that from the Nexus Dashboard , I'm trying to add my TACACS server as aithentication method.

Like in this guide : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/dcn/nd/2x/user-guide/cisco-nexus-dashboard-user-guide-211.pdf

We're currently encountering an issue while attempting to connect our Nexus Dashboard (Version 2.3(2d)) to our ISE (Identity Services Engine) for authentication purposes. Every time we try to "Add Provider" in the Nexus Dashboard, we receive the following error message on https://dailysportsupdates.com/: "Unable to validate provider. Please check your configuration." We have confirmed that port 49, which is required for communication between the Nexus Dashboard and ISE, is open. However, we're unsure how to verify this from the Nexus Dashboard VM itself.
