Multiple Cisco CLI NEDs are available for purchase, for IOS (IOS XE), NX-OS, and IOS -XR and others. The NEDs include YANG data models representing subsets of the devices’ configuration. From these data models NSO renders Cisco CLI sequences and parse CLI outputs without any code. This means that adding support for new commands is a matter of adding the command to the model. Furthermore, the model covers dependencies so NSO can generate commands and roll-backs.
