Not able to configure XR commands via NETCONF NED post NSO 5.4

Hi All,

We are currently using NSO 5.3.4.3 and were able to configure our XR nodes via IOX XR NED on NSO cli. However, post NSO 5.4 (we are planning for NSO 5.5.5), we cannot push any xr configuration to the node via ned. 

Example:

openroadm@ncs# devices device netconfd live-status --> (no autocomplete after this which suggests NED cli not working)

In NSO 5.3.4.3., it works fine as usual Refer below:

openroadm@ncs# devices device netconfd live-status hw-module oper location 0/0
actions reload

I suspected the NETCONF NED package has updates and that might be causing the issue because later NSO versions demand it or are there some specific requirements post NSO 5.4 that we are to include?

I wasn't able to find an answer for you but I wanted to remind you that yesterday was the last day Cisco would have released any maintenance releases or bug fixes for this version (5.4).

End-of-Life (EoL) Announcement Date	The date of this announcement	November 30, 2020
End of SW Maintenance (EoSM) Release Date	The last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software. Note: After this date, Cisco Engineering will only provide fixes for Security Vulnerabilities as per the EoVS milestone timeframe.	May 30. 2022
Last Date of Support	The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.	May 31, 2024

Are you able to perform a sync-from ?

Can you perform a sync-from then try to execute  a live-status 

It might be related to the capability that are missing

Thanks for the response, everyone. The issue has been identified by the tailf team. The files related to Cisco-IOS-XR-sysadmin were missed as part of the capability on NSO 5.4 and later versions due to a "check-sync" feature support on IOS XR devices.
