NSO add device Production Device

Hi Experts,

I have to add production routers NSO production environment. Services are running fine in development environment on LAB routers properly So, before adding any production device in Prod NSO, I have below queries;

1. While adding Cisco routers via CLI (telnet) what kind of commands NSO executes on devices (having status Found=Yes, Connected=Yes, in Sync=Yes and Southbound=unlocked) Do we have any reference link containing such commands?

Purpose is to know; is there any impact already running configurations?

2. What privileges level user is required in NSO to connect a device and configure services (southbound unlocked mode)?

The commands are not specified and depends on the specific NED and NED version. You can turn on the traces to see exactly what is being done. But, they are read-only commands and should no effect on the managed device.

I do not know exactly what privileges you need, you do need enable mode at least and you do need full rights to write and save configuration. I have always used level 15, but it is possible you could do something more fine-grained.
