Questions on NSO version 4.4.2 CHANGES and python API reference

Hi experts and experts from BU,

Firstly there’re two entries from CHANGES file of NSO version 4.4.2 that I would wish to learn more about:

- CLI: A new NED capability has been added. This capability allows NEDs

to use the CLI parser in strict mode, which uses the indentation of

given commands to enter and exit sub modes.

[gavlam] Actually where can I find information about this within NEDs or in any documentations, and also is this implicitly applied to related command sets so that I don’t have to worry about it?

- RESTCONF: The IETF RESTCONF YANG model is now up to date with RFC 8040

   The RESTCONF Protocol.

[gavlam] So does this imply that it no longer is based on draft-ietf-netconf-restconf-17 anymore as stated in the northbound documentation?

Another question is my customer finds out that there is no python API reference files other than index.html in the latest nso-4.4.2.doc.tar.gz (or those retrieved from NSO install directory), can I assume that the APIs haven’t been changed since 4.4.1.x?

Thanks in advance!

Gavin
