Cannot ping

Whats is the purpose of having ‘no proxy-arp’

i have issue both A & B end are on 10g interface. Physical port is up but we cant ping to each other. We can see link down when either one of us shut the interface. A end can detect B mac address but B not able to detect A mac address. Have check the cablings are gd. Both A & B on same /30 network & we can ping to own IP address

A using switch, B using Cisco. Do B need to remove ‘no proxy-arp’ command?

what model of the devices both the side, have you enabled ip routing.

can you post show run interface x/x and show interface x/x  also show ip interface brief from both.
