OpenDNS not blocking porn sites

After check all my configurations DNS, etc. and then checking my IP address everything appear to be in order. Yet, OpenDNS is still not blocking adult sites.

Do the domains for these sites that are not being blocked belong to the categories that you've blocked, or have you added them to your blacklist? Have you flushed your DNS caches before testing if these domains are blocked, and have you flushed them after each change to make sure you are not getting old data.

All of the categories that I have blocked have been re-checked. And, yes, I have flushed my DNS caches before and after to ascertain if these domains are blocked. But nothing changes. ??

Have you checked that the domains that you want to block actually belong to the categories that you are blocking, or are you just assuming that they are already properly categorized?

Yes, I've always had it set on "Moderate" and it's worked find until today. Incidentally, I noticed that my current IP is different from the one that listed as my "Home" IP in OpenDNS. Could this have an impact on the blocking?

You are not answering the question I am asking. But that doesn't matter since the information in your initial post was wrong and misleading.

You said that you checked your IP address and it was correct, now you just said that your IP address is different from the one that is listed on your dashboard. That is precisely the problem. If you don't have your current IP address registered on your dashboard then you won't get any domain filtering. You need to update that address and either use the OpenDNS Updater or some other method to keep your address updated when your IP address changes.

My mistake mate. You're right. It was getting fairly late and my mind was working properly. After I looked at it again this morning I realized that I hadn't matched the IP addresses. They are now both the same and the filtering now works.
