Subdomain Blocking not working

Not applicable

I'm trying to block 2.android.pool.ntp.org. I've tried everything and am currently blocking ntp.org, pool.ntp.org, and very specificly 2.android.pool.ntp.org.

2.android always returns valid results and not the block page IP addresses. However ntp.org and pool.ntp.org return the block page.

I see 2.android in my logs and it says it's blocked but it very clearly is not. I've checked and dns servers are set correctly and I get expected results for other blocked domains etc just not this one in particular.

Happy to provide additional details or troubleshoot... VERY FRSUTRATING

Hello,

Please create a support request.

In the support request please download and run our diagnostic tool via the support article below from a computer that is experiencing the issue. When the test starts it will ask you if you want to enter in a domain to test. In this field type in ***2.android.pool.ntp.org***.

***After the test completes, copy and paste the Diagnostic number into this ticket***. If you are experiencing difficulties copying the URL from the diagnostic tool, please use the steps at http://www.take-a-screenshot.org to take a screenshot of the diagnostic tool after it finishes.

The following link - (https://support.umbrella.com/hc/en-us/articles/234692027) provides more information regarding the diagnostic test.

In addition, can you please run the Extended Test in ***https://dnsleaktest.com/*** and provide us with a screen capture (http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/) of the results.

Reg Ham,

Thank you for the tools and assistance. I did all of the above about a week ago, still no response from support... Not sure if that's typical or not but I would have expected something of a reply by now... Happy to share the results here also if that moves the needle.
