Is it possible to get a basic Umbrella subscription for a single personal user, or is the free OpenDNS service adequate protection?

I'm not aware of an Umbrella subscription for a single user, and I do not know what would be an adequate protection for you.

you can get Umbrella Prosumer for single user. It's what I have.

Sure, Prosumer allows for a single user (3 devices) subscription, but this is not really Umbrella. I understood that reonet asked for an Umbrella subscription for one user, but this starts with 10 users.

Yes rotblitz, you are right. I was just wondering if Umbrella would be offered to a single user instead of in the 10 pack. I understand why Cisco did this, but I just had to ask. Thanks for your follow-up.

The existing Umbrella packages were established before Cisco bought OpenDNS.
Other than Prosumer and the way that Umbrella Partners can offer services it doesn't appear that OpenDNS wants to offer Umbrella in a package smaller than 10, though I also really wish they'd do so. There is definitely a need, or at least a desire, for more flexibility in the offerings for smaller businesses or for more tech savvy families that don't want want the limitations of Prosumer.

Can I take an advantage of "Intelligent Proxy" when using Umbrella Prosumer?
