Why is facebook.com not blocked by Always Block?

I added facebook.com to the Always Block list months ago. It used to get blocked, but it doesn't anymore.

I've checked and the IP configuration is correct for my network.

I've flushed cache, but it still resolves

C:\Users\Bill>ipconfig /flushdns

Windows IP Configuration

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

C:\Users\Bill>nslookup
Default Server:  resolver1.opendns.com
Address:  208.67.222.222

Server:  resolver1.opendns.com
Address:  208.67.222.222

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    www.facebook.com
Addresses:  146.112.61.104
          146.112.61.104

I have even tried selecting to block the Social Networking category.

I suspect you have IPv6 connectivity enabled for your internet connection.  Disable it!

If it is not IPv6, copy & paste also the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands:

   nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.

   nslookup whoami.akamai.net.

It wasn't IPv6.

The outputs are fine.  What service are you using?  Is this Home/VIP or Umbrella?  (I see an Organization ID of 1890941...)

Your IP address 184.101.243.66 is registered with OpenDNS network ID 38609641.  Look at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ to ensure that this is your network ID and not somebody else's.  The IP address must match too.  (Hover over the IP address of your network to see the network ID in the status line of the browser.)  If you have Umbrella, perform the checks at the Umbrella dashboard https://dashboard2.opendns.com/ accordingly.

If this is your network ID, and you have added facebook.com in the related network's "always block" list, then Facebook should be blocked for you in this network.

If you're still having problems, your best bet is to raise a support ticket.  OpenDNS staff must look into your account then.
